Robert Gwynn is from Florida and is visiting Oregon.  On Tuesday, he went on a hike above Multnomah Falls Lodge.  He lost track of time and when it got dark he couldn't find his way back to the lodge.  He called 911 for help, but the battery on his cell phone died.

Deputies responded and found his car in the parking lot of the lodge.  Search teams were mobilized and began hiking the trails on the mountain above the lodge.  They found him after a brief search.

One of the search team members suffered a medical emergency and had to be carried down on a stretcher.  The person was flown to a Portland hospital on Lifeflight in critical condition.
