First the U.S. Navy pulled its ships and now the U.S. Coast Guard has removed its ships from the Rose Festival's Fleet Week.
Rich Jarvis, with the Rose Festival, says they're checking with the Canadian Navy to find out whether they still plan to send their ships. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers normally docks its dredge ship in the Willamette River during the week.
If security is required for the ships that do arrive that would be provided by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Jarvis says it's a fluid situation and they're still trying to determine which ships will join Rose Festival this year.
The U.S. Coast Guard also withdrew its ships from Seattle's Sea Fair.
