Join us on the farm every Saturday for a day of fun and exploration! Walk around the farm, taste what’s growing and participate in farm activities. We’ll have stations set up each time with seasonal activities, and our Community Chefs will provide a delicious freshly made meal, packaged to-go, with plenty to go around. As always, the Children’s Garden and Nature Playground will be open for planting and playing. These events are made possible through our sliding scale or "pay as you can" model. We are happy to offer free registration using the waiver code OFD21 to low-income families. Feel free to use this code if you need it.
Please make sure to bring a mask with you to any of our events!
OPEN FARM DAY: HARVEST CRAFT DAY
Saturday, October 2, 2021
1:00PM - 4:00PM
Come to the farm for planned activities including creating fun natural tie-dye with beets, building mini scarecrows to take home, and a garden party! Activities are subject to change.
Planned activities for this Open Farm Day include a fermentation 101 demonstration table (learn to ferment produce at home!) and a fermentation tasting with miso and soup.
