In the latest episode of "Kanye West says something controversial and his wife Kim Kardashian is forced to explain it later:" Mr. West has come under fire over some comments he made during a live stream — that seemingly referenced Michael Jackson and R. Kelly's sexual abuse scandals — and Kim is defending him.

During his weekly "Sunday Service" performance, Ye addressed the audience saying, "Everybody, they want the art from the artist, but anytime they do anything erratic they just gonna pull up full documentaries on him. Then they gonna come with the Michael [Jackson] documentary." He added: "We can all enjoy all their music all we want. I thought I wasn't going to go there today, but if we're gonna tear down artists, let's go ahead and take [Leonardo] da Vinci out the Lourve while we're at. Let's take down all the art."

After many took Kanye's words as him saying it's okay to play R. Kelly's music, Kim took to Twitter to clear up her husband's statement, saying he was in no way referencing or defending the disgraced singer. "I’m going to nip this in the bud right now. Kanye was speaking about his own experience of everyone quick to say they are cancelling [sic] him because of differences in opinion & not being perfect," she wrote. "The analogies were in context to his own experiences, not defending anyone else."

"I want to make it very clear, he is not condoning anyone’s actions or unacceptable disgusting behavior," Kim continued. "My husband’s words are being taken out of context due to timing."

As fans know, Kelly is currently under criminal investigation following the fallout from the gut-wrenching documentary series, Surviving R. Kelly, which detailed gripping and harrowing recounts of Kelly's alleged sexual abuse — told by seven alleged survivors — over the last 20-plus years.

And in regards to Ye's mentioning of Michael's documentary, as previously reported, the late singer also has an explosive doc on the way. This year's Sundance Film Festival lineup includes a documentary titled Leaving Neverland that accuses Michael of sexually abusing two young boys.
