Student Speech Slams Heritage HS in Vancouver "Ignoring Sexual Assault"

A high school senior will not walk at his graduation Saturday after speaking out against his school’s administration, claiming they ignore sexual assault and bullying.

Charles Chandler made the comments during a school ceremony Wednesday at Heritage High School in Vancouver , WA in front of students and their families.

Chandler said, “And to you, underclassmen, who have to endure all the things the school throws at you for two or three more years. A school where the administration closes their eyes to everything that happens at the school. Their school. The sexual assault, the bullying, the depression, the outcasts. They do nothing to fix it.”
