An Indiana man expecting a $17-hundred stimulus check got a bit more than that when he checked his bank account. Instead of the stimulus check, he found over $8-million deposited, albeit briefly, to his bank account.
Charles Calvin, a volunteer firefighter in New Chicago, said he went to the ATM to grab some money and when he checked his available balance, it said $8.2-million. He was shocked to see that much money.
However, when Calvin got home, he called the bank to check out what the deal was and he was told that the money was no longer in his account. The good news? That his stimulus checkwasthere.
