Black Youth At Lower Rate Than White Youth Released From Juvenile Detention

Once upon a time before the COVID-19 pandemic, there was change taking place to give juveniles another chance and release them from detention centers.

Now, according to a report by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, it shows that over the course of the pandemic the release gap between white and Black youth has grown from 7 to 17 percent.
