June is pride month, the biggest annual celebration of LGBTQ+ culture. These days, diversity and inclusion are more important than ever. Pride NW Inc’s mission is to encourage and celebrate the positive diversity of the LGBTQ+ communities in Oregon and SW Washington, and to assist in the education of all people through the development of activities that showcase the history, accomplishments, and talents of these communities.
Below is a list up upcoming Pride NW events happening this month!
Does it feel hard to celebrate this year? It’s been a tough year—worrying about getting sick, not feeling safe, not being with your community. That stress doesn’t just go away. You don’t have to go it alone. Youthera is a free, online community where you can get support from people going through the same stuff. Check Youthera out on twitch or visit youthera.org to talk to someone who gets it. Brought to you by Safe Strong Oregon.
