Daz Dillinger and Kurupt seemingly confirmed a target release date for Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre's forthcoming album.

On Saturday, June 8, Drink Champs released the full video version of their episode with Tha Dogg Pound. During their conversation, the duo spoke about the making of their recent LP We All We Got (W.A.W.G). Kurupt mentioned that several people "sacrificed" solo records for the LP including himself, Daz and Snoop Dogg. That's when he revealed the Death Row Records owner's album with Dr. Dre is set to arrive this summer.

“[Snoop] Dogg sacrificed ’cause he got an album dropping in July," he said. "His album with Dr. Dre dropping in July."

“He got an album coming out next month with Dr. Dre," Daz added.

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have been working on their upcoming album for over two years. The album, titled Missionary, was set to arrive last November in honor of the 30th anniversary of Snoop's debut LP Doggystyle. However, after the intended release date came and went, both artists have yet to confirm its arrival. Earlier this year, Snoop finally opened up about the status of the album.

“I’m in the lab with Dr. Dre right now," he told Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’ All the Smoke podcast back in January. "That’s Death Row/Aftermath. "We finishing that up right now, tidying up the pieces to that. He’s a perfectionist."

"When you hear what we have and how he got me rapping, it’s like a grown Snoop Dogg," he continued. "There’s some growth to him. It’s the way he selects his bars, it’s the way he uses his voice. [Dr. Dre] uses me like a f**king robot and I love it because I love to be produced. I love to be challenged.”

If their album does drop in July, it could arrive around the same time as Eminem's LP The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). Like Snoop and Dre, Em has yet to confirm an exact release date. However, he previously promised to drop it this summer.
