Vancouver Police have arrested a suspect in the Vancouver Mall Shooting.

22-year-old Travis Ward was identified, and detectives received information that he was inside a residence in Vancouver. Vancouver Police Detectives, with assistance from SWAT, arrived at the residence and Ward surrendered and was taken into custody.

Ward was booked into the Clark County Jail for Murder I, and two counts of Assault I.

Detectives have identified the two women from the mall they wanted to interview. They located the woman and they were cooperative with detectives.

Neither are considered suspects or persons of interest in the crime.

On Halloween evening, a trick-or-treating event was underway at the mall when there was a shooting in the food court. One man was killed and two men were wounded. Those men were treated and released from a hospital.

Detectives believed it was a targeted shooting.

Ward is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday.
