Andrew Schulz Suggests Kendrick Lamar's White Comedian Bar Is Hypocritical

Andrew Schulz has seemingly responded to Kendrick Lamar's "white comedian" callout on his new album, GNX.

Last month, Kendrick sent shockwaves through the music industry, releasing his surprise album GNX.

Fans quickly picked up on a lyric in the album's opening track "wacced out murals," where K-Dot called out white comedians speaking on Black women.

“Don’t let no white comedian talk about no Black woman, that’s law," the rapper said.

Though Kendrick didn't name a specific comedian, Schulz, who caught heat earlier this year for his take on the "Black girlfriend effect," apparently interpreted the lyric as a direct shot.

On a recent episode of his podcast, Schulz suggested that Kendrick was hypocritical for calling out white comedians for speaking on Black women.

“Nobody has respected women more, through art, than rappers. So I completely understand how a rapper could look at a comedian telling a joke and be like, ‘Yo y’all need to switch that s**t up.’ How dare y’all keep saying your wives are annoying?”

Schulz then jokingly rapped stereotypical lyrics that are disrespectful to women.

“B*****s ain’t nothing but h**s and t****s I beat my b***h with a stick," the comedian quipped.

“What a time to be alive,” Schulz added, “where rappers gotta talk about comedians for clout.”

Schulz also reportedly responded to the rapper's callout during a conversation with podcaster DJ Akademiks. Earlier this year, Schulz made headlines over his conversation about the "Black girlfriend effect" with "ShxtsNGigs" podcast hosts James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu.

“They shave their hair because they start losing it from being so stressed, being around this Black girl that’s complaining about s**t all the f**king time,” Schulz said of men who date Black women.

“They grow a beard because there’s more cushion when they get slapped. I think the Black Girlfriend Effect might be a protective instinct,” he added.

Akademiks said he spoke to Schulz about Kendrick's lyrics.

“His reaction was, ‘Is this guy too woke to understand a joke?” Akademiks said of the comedian's response.
