A Multnomah County judge has sentenced a prolific graffiti vandal to four years in prison.

Jacob Ramos used the tag BIER. He was convicted of 51 crimes relating to defacing public property.

The Deputy District Attorney said the sentence should send a strong message to other graffiti vandals that there are serious consequences for their crimes.

Ramos will also be sentenced later this month for his conviction in a ghost-gun manufacturing operation that was found during a search related to the graffiti crimes.
