Salem Doggie Dash Raises Funds For Oregon Humane

More than 450 people and hundreds of dogs gathered at Riverfront Park in Salem on Saturday for Doggie Dash 2026.

This is the second year Oregon Humane has hosted Doggie Dash in Salem and the community was ready to celebrate our special connection with animals - enjoying a walk/run, pet-friendly festival, contests, activities for kids, food trucks, and more - in beautiful Riverfront Park.

The event marks the end of Oregon Humane's Doggie Dash season for 2026. Doggie Dash Portland took place on May 9 with Doggie Dash Salem just a few weeks later.

In total, close to 4,000 people participated in Doggie Dash events, raising $570,000 so far. Fundraising doesn't officially close until June 12, so there is still time to donate. Their goal is $600,000.
