Two people were killed in a plane crash Monday near Parkdale.
The Hood River County Sheriff's Office received reports of a plane crash.
The Sheriff's Office plane and Parkdale Fire Department crews searched the area and found the crash scene near an orchard.
The pilot and passenger in the single-engine plane were both killed. They're identified as James Crain and Scott Perry, both of Hood River.
The NTSB will investigate the cause of the crash.
