Kanye West Says Donda Was Released by Label Without His Approval

Well, this is interesting 👀 After changing the release date for “Donda” so many times I honestly thought it would never drop, Kanye’s album “Donda” (which is a dedication to his late mother Donda) dropped Sunday, August 29th.

Now seeing that Saturday, I mixed cheap tequila and Jameson, it’s safe to say I missed all the drama that unfolded after the album dropped. One bit of tea I found this morning, Kayne posted to Instagram “Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked Jail 2 from being on the album.” Later that day (yesterday) Jail 2 which features DaBaby and Marilyn Manson made it to the album.

So I’m not really sure why the song was blocked initially, but it’s there now 🤷🏾‍♀️ As for Donda dropping without Kanye’s permission, ehhhhh. I’m sure we would of had 3 more listening parties before getting the album if Kanye always got his way.

Personally, I haven’t checked out Donda because it's 27 songs so I’ll check it out later when I go to the gym.
