Yesterday Dick's Drive-In Restaurant took to their Instagram to announce their iconic Capitol Hill location will close for a remodel starting December 13th. More details below:
Dear Customers,
Our Broadway location will close starting Monday, December 13th, for remodel. This location has not been remodeled since it was first built in 1954. Although the outside will look the same, inside we are getting new plumbing, electrical, built-in coolers, equipment, etc. We hope to reopen sometime in spring of 2022. Stay tuned for more information on food truck visits during the closure and reopening updates.
We are very grateful for our landlord at our Broadway location, Flitig LLC. It’s a wonderful example of one family business working through the generations with another.
All of our employees will be temporarily transferring to other locations during the remodel and will be back to serve you when we reopen. - @dicksdrivein
