Storm Brings Heavy Rain

A storm Tuesday is bringing heavy rain to the area.

A band of showers stalled over Northwest Portland and parts of Columbia and Washington County dropping heavy rain.

Parts of Highway 30 were flooded.

There is a Flood Watch for the entire Willamette Valley. The rivers that are most likely to be affected are Johnson Creek in Portland, the Marys River in Benton County and the Luckiamute in Benton and Polk Counties.

Snow is expected in the Coast Range and the Cascades above 1,000 feet.

Rain remains in the forecast for the Willamette Valley, Portland and Vancouver into the weekend.
