Blazers Pound The Kings

----- Damian Lillard scores 26 points and 12 assists as the Portland Trail Blazers defeat the Sacramento Kings 116-99 Tuesday night at Moda Center.

The Portland Trail Blazers matched their season-long four-game winning streak on Tuesday night with a 116-99 win over the Sacramento Kings. With the win, the Blazers pulled to within 1.5 games of Minnesota for third place in the Western Conference playoff standings.

Damian Lillard led Portland (35-26) with 26 points and 12 assists while Jusuf Nurkic added 17 points and 9 rebounds. The Blazers got a nice boost from their bench with Shabazz Napier scoring 20 points and Ed Davis and Zach Collins combining for 17 points and 18 rebounds.

After the game, Lillard was pleased with the team's play saying, "I thought we had good energy, our ball movement was good, defensively we were physical, we got our hands on some balls. But I think most important we were just connected."

The Blazers are now 10-4 in their last 14 games.

UP NEXT- The Trail Blazers will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 PM.

Chad's take- Damian Lillard is a cold-piece!
