Blazers Humble The Warriors

----- CJ McCollum scores 30 points as the Portland Trail Blazers defeat the Golden State Warriors 125-108 to extend their current winning-streak to nine games Friday night at Moda Center.

The Portland Trail Blazers now have the longest current winning-streak in the NBA at nine games with a 125-108 win over the Golden State Warriors Friday night at Moda Center. This was a team-win for the Blazers. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum combined for 58 points and the Blazers bench scored 47 points as seven players scored in double-figures.

Ed Davis continued his sensational play with 10 points and a season-high 15 rebounds and the rookie Zach Collins added 12 points and four rebounds. The Blazers out rebounded the Warriors 46-33 including 14 offensive rebounds giving Portland a 26-8 edge in second chance points.

With Steph Curry out of the lineup (ankle), Kevin Durant carried the Warriors offense scoring 40 points on 12-for-21 shooting, but Warriors only had three players score in double-figures. Klay Thompson scored 25 points and Quinn Cook added 10.

Portland (40-26) now holds a 1.5 game lead for third place in the Western Conference playoff standings after the Pelicans dropped a home game Friday night to the Wizards.

If the Blazers defeat the Miami Heat on Monday, it will be the 10th time in franchise history when a team has gone on a winning streak of 10 games or more.
