Bosnian Beast Over Miami

----- Jusuf Nurkic records 27 points and 16 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers extend their winning streak to 10 games with a 115-99 win over the Miami Heat Monday night at Moda Center.

The Portland Trail Blazers continued their torrid pace towards the NBA Playoffs on Monday night with a 115-99 win over the Miami Heat. With the win, the Blazers have now won 10-straight games. It is only the 10th time in team history when the Blazers have had a winning streak of 10 or more games.

Jusuf Nurkic had one of his best games of the season finishing with 27 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocks. The Blazers cruised to a 12 point halftime lead and extended the lead out to 16 points entering the fourth quarter before the Heat caused a scare. Miami (36-32) opened the final period with an 18-5 run to cut the Blazers lead to three at 93-90. The Blazers responded with a 20-5 run to put the game away.

Damian Lillard led Portland (41-26) with 32 points connecting on 7-for-14 of his three-point shots. After the game Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra complimented Lillard saying, ''I don't know if there is any other player in this league right now that is playing at a higher level than Lillard. You know the names in the MVP conversation. The way he's playing right now and winning, he deserves to be in that conversation as well.''

CJ McCollum added 17 points and Zach Collins added 10 points and four rebounds off the bench. The Blazers have a two-game lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder for third place in the Western Conference playoff standings.

NEXT UP- The Trail Blazers will host Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers Thursday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
