Blazers Tame The Bulls

----- CJ McCollum scores 24 points to lead the Blazers to their third-straight win 124-112 over the Chicago Bulls Wednesday night at Moda Center.

The Trail Blazers continued to take advantage of their schedule Wednesday night with another win against the Eastern Conference with a 124-112 over the Chicago Bulls. The Blazers are now 11-3 against teams from the East with the Charlotte Hornets coming to Moda Center on Friday.

CJ McCollum rediscovered his shooting stroke scoring 24 points on 10-of-14 shooting. McCollum was aggressive early scoring eight-points in the first quarter finding quality shots in rhythm within the team's offense.

The Blazers bench was solid pouring in 56 points. Seth Curry led the way scoring 17 points on 3-for-5 shooting from three-point range and Zach Collins had one of his best games of the season with 16 points and nine rebounds. After being out of the rotation for three games, Nik Stauskas got time and made the most of it finishing with eight points.

''I liked the activity, more than anything else. I liked the activity and the flow of the second unit,'' `Blazers coach Terry Stotts said.

With McCollum scoring well, Damian Lillard focused on facilitating the offense and finding his teammates. He dished out 10 assists and added 16 points. Jusuf Nurkic battled foul trouble to finish with 18 points and eight rebounds in just 20 minutes of work.

The Blazers offense offense was clicking all night as they shot 56.6% from the field including 11-for-26 from downtown (42.3%).

“We got something from a lot of guys‚” Lillard said of the team effort in the win. “When we get those types of efforts from so many people, we’re going to get this type of result.”

Portland (25-17) is now 5-1 in their last six games and have seven of their last 10 overall.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers will host the Charlotte Hornets Friday night at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
