My favorite player in the NBA is Jusuf Nurkic. Upon his arrival, Nurkic has given the Blazers toughness, an inside presence, and a unique flare for the game. Nurkic is having his best season as a pro averaging 15 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists per game.
His development is a product of his hard work. Nurkic dropped 35 pounds last year, and has spent extra hours at the practice facility working on his game and with his teammates. He has become a major part of the Blazers attack on both ends of the floor with his play-making and rim protection.
I caught up with Nurk to discuss his off-season program, his rivalry with Russell Westbrook and his relationship with Damian Lillard. Listen to the latest episode of the "What's Chad Doing" podcast here-
