Clippers Dominate Trail Blazers

----- The LA Clippers got 66 points from their bench as they snap Portland's three-game winning streak with a 117-97 win Tuesday night at Staples Center.

Both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were in the starting lineup for the Clippers on Tuesday night, but Montrezl Harrell stole the show.

Harrell scored 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds as the LA Clippers snapped the Portland Trail Blazers three-game winning streak with a dominating 117-97 win Tuesday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Led by Harrell, the Clippers got 66 points from their bench. Patrick Patterson scored 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting from three-point range and Lou Williams added nine points and seven assists.

The Clippers led 62-59 at halftime, but opened the third quarter on a 7-0 run and extended the lead to 89-76 entering the fourth. LA put the game away with a 13-4 run.

The Clippers had a 15-8 edge in second-chance points and connected on 17 of their 34 shots from three-point range.

CJ McCollum led Portland (8-13) with 20 points and Hassan Whiteside recorded a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds.

The Clippers finished the game with a 66-30 edge in bench points.

Portland's 17-point third quarter was their lowest scoring quarter of the season.

Up Next- The Trail Blazers return home for the second of a back-to-back tomorrow night against the Sacramento Kings at Moda Center. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
