Portland Police are trying to identify a man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank branch at Southeast 45th and Woodstock Monday morning.

Bank employees told police that the suspect entered the bank, armed with a handgun, and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect walked out of the bank and disappeared into the neighborhood.

Several officers searched the neighborhood, but did not locate anyone matching the suspect's description.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, 6'2" tall, stocky build, dark eyes, pale skin, wearing all dark clothes.

Robbery detectives have nicknamed the suspect "Jabba the Robber" due to his size and choice of dark clothing.
